Club House at Deere Run

Deere Run, the home of the John Deere Classic is a course constructed on what we remember as "Friendship Farm" east of town along the Rock River, and donated as a Tournament Players Course. A spectacular setting for some spectacular golf.

Grand Detour - Hole # 1 at Deere Run

An elevated tee box provides carry for a shot across the valley of narror fareway to an open, but steep, landing area, then a sharp dog leg to the left and a shot to the green. Don't try to cut the corner on this hole unless you are really good!

Conquistador - Hole # 18 at Deere Run

An elongated green, sloping to a pond to the left is the target for a long two shots through a very narrow fareway lined by well forested sidelines. Iv'e seen many pros hit their tee shots into the Forest along the right side of the fareway.

The Channel Cat

There are two of these water taxis, They hold their schedule better than the buses do. You can ride from Moline, by the Mark and TFI Fridays to Moline's Marquee Harbor and down to Bettendorf close to the bridge and then down to Lindsey Harbor in Davenport. You can carry your bikes on board as well.

The Celebration Belle

No gambling on this cruise ship, but it harbors in Moline on River Drive and takes people out for a cruise several times per day.

Water Slide, Moline

A recent addition in Moline is a Water Slide and shallow pool where the Moline Public Pool used to be located at Riverside Park. It's a nice facility, but the down side is No More "Rec".
