Transportation Building in John Deere Commons


A modern public transportation building houses the central bus barn, provides for ground level tour bus arrivals and departures and is topped by upper levels of automobile parking. It also will serve rail travel through Moline when that occurs in the future.

The Mark of the Quad Cities


A multi purpose convention center that hosts iceshows, hockey, basketball, musical performances, football, the Circus and host of other activities from banquets, receptions and training centers. It is connected to the Transportation Building by a Sky Bridge and a covered walkway to a Raddison Hotel.

Deere and Company


World Wide Headquarters of Deere and Company was completed in 1964 and is located on the old Coaltown Road, now known as John Deere Road. The building is visited by thousands of people each year, from all around the world.

Prospect Park Pavillion


A major rennovation and re-landscaping activity has taken place at one of our most memorable parks, Prospect Park, Lagoon and Quad Cities Music Guild. Pathways have been constructed to provide walking and hiking at various levels of intensity.

Pier on Prospect Park Lagoon


A new look to the fishing pier at the edge of Prospect Park Lagoon provides shelter and shade for fishermen, young and old. The Lagoon has been deepened and shaped and surrounded by a newly paved pathway for bikers and walkers. You'll notice the remnents of the old concrete bridge is gone.

Q.C.Campus for W.I.U.


A 20 acre parcel of land and a building along River Drive at 34th Street has been donated by Deere to be the site for the Quad City Campus for Western Illinois University. Planning is complete, approval is at hand, just waiting for the funding process to be complete --- then building will commense.
